The Race. The Great Challenge.

The 2nd edition of L’Etape Greece by Tour de France introduces a new route in the long distance, which extends in a big loop of 128 kilometers with 2150 meters of elevation gain. Athletes participating in The Race will also compete in a Climbing Sprint and a Flat Sprint. The start of The Race will take place on Saturday, April 6th 2024, at 8:30 am in the central square of the historic Ancient Olympia (Town Hall). Cyclists will follow the route towards Mount Kronios and will then enter the premises of the International Olympic Academy, right next to the ancient stadium where the first Olympic Games were held in 776 BC. Roads will be closed to traffic, the cyclists will be accompanied by motorcycles and support cars, there will be technical support, as well as feeding and aid stations. Apart from the overall winners and champions of the KOM and Sprint, winners of each age category will be awarded during the award ceremony.
