The Race. The Great Challenge.
The 3nd Edition of L’Etape Greece by Tour de France presented by SKODA introduces the NEW long distance route, which extends in two loops completing 150 kilometers with 2,500 meters of elevation gain. Athletes participating in The Race will also compete in a Climbing Sprint and a Flat Sprint. The start of The Race will take place on Saturday, April 12th 2025, at 8:30 am in the central square of the historic Ancient Olympia (Town Hall). Roads will be closed to traffic, the cyclists will be accompanied by motorcycles and support cars, there will be technical support, as well as feeding and aid stations. Apart from the overall winners and champions of the KOM and Sprint, winners of each age category will be awarded during the Award Ceremony.
Discover the beauty of Western Greece through a unique cycling route that connects historic villages and stunning landscapes. Starting from Ancient Olympia, cyclists pass through Platanos, Pelopio, Smila, and Magoula, enjoying the ancient oak forest of Foloi, picturesque trails, lush greenery, and the traditional hospitality of the local community. The route continues through Karatoula and Mouzaki, weaving through vineyards and olive groves, before reaching the idyllic villages of Agia Anna, Pefki, Nea Persaina, and Milies. The journey concludes in Neraida and Latzoi, offering unforgettable experiences of Greek nature and history.
