The Ride

The Ride. Shorter and Faster!

Equally challenging is the shorter distance of The Ride, which will start at 8:45 am on Saturday, April 12, 2025, in front of the central square of historic Ancient Olympia. The distance is 75 kilometers and accumulates 1000 meters of elevation gain. The cyclists of The Ride will compete in a Flat Sprint and a Climbing Sprint. The winners of The Ride will be awarded the prestigious L’Etape Jerseys, and winners of each age category will also be awarded.

Discover the beauty of Western Greece through a unique cycling route that connects historic villages and stunning landscapes. Starting from Ancient Olympia, cyclists pass through Platanos, Pelopio, Smila, and Magoula, enjoying the ancient oak forest of Foloi, picturesque trails, lush greenery, and the traditional hospitality of the local community. The route continues through Karatoula and Mouzaki, weaving through vineyards and olive groves, before reaching the idyllic villages of Agia Anna, Pefki, Nea Persaina, and Milies. The journey concludes in Neraida and Latzoi, offering unforgettable experiences of Greek nature and history.
